Radish- Cherry Belle

Cherry Belle Radish is a small, round, red radish that is known for its mild flavor and quick growth. It is a great choice for early spring gardening and can be eaten raw, cooked, or pickled.

• When to plant:  Radish can be planted in the spring or fall. In the spring, plant the seeds as soon as the soil can be worked. In the fall, plant the seeds 4-6 weeks before the first frost.
• Spacing: Plant the seeds 1/2 inch deep and 1 inch apart. Thin the seedlings to 2-3 inches apart once they have grown a few sets of leaves.
• Care:  Radish is a relatively easy plant to care for. Keep the soil moist but not soggy, and fertilize every few weeks with a balanced fertilizer. Radishes are ready to harvest when they are about 2 inches in diameter.
